Pining for the twisters and tumbleweed of rural Kansas, Dorothy clicked her heels together – once, twice, three times – and took up her mantra, there’s no place like home. Despite my own roaming heart and a passion for new lands, despite the facts of the past and the promise of the future, I am grateful for my home and thought it was time to say thank you to the Patron Saint of My Own Backyard:

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures Cathy, they are breathtaking. I agree 100% that there is no place like home. Home for me is standing beside the raging North Atlantic Ocean in England, grey foam thick on the dark grey waves, wind blowing fiercely accompanied by the inescapable taste of salt in the air. Home…
